​Load Shaping

HUB connects to devices such as air-conditioning systems using protocol translation modules. The utilisation of a high level interface allows HUB to monitor system operation and modulate the input power to the device while keeping the heating and cooling system within its operating envelope. 

RED-line load shaping

HUB RED-line control prevents energy procurement from exceeding the set threshold within the DARwin management framework. RED-line control does not include any alarms and its single focus is to prevent energy procurement reaching the set maximum.

GREEN-line load shaping

HUB GREEN-line control connects to the heating and cooling system and monitors temperatures in individual thermal zones. By being aware of the heating and cooling system activity energy savings can be achieved while keeping the system within target comfort and air quality targets.

DUAL-line load shaping

HUB DUAL-line control continuously monitors equipments status and adjusts DRED, room temperature targets, fresh air requirements to save energy in a discrete way that stays within set parameters. A rotational hierarchy ensures that all zones and equipment have periods of shedding and periods where they operate without limits.
